The school year is well under way and we are moving right along in Social Studies!! Social Studies this year focuses on Western Hemisphere geography.We will explore the 2 continents and many countries that make up this region.For the 1st 9 weeks, we will learn how geographers study the world.We will learn how to use tools like GPS, a compass, latitude and longitude, how to study different cultures, how climates affect development of those cultures, and many other topics!The remainder of the year we will visit all of the countries on the west side of the world and take a closer look at what makes each of them unique.
This website will keep you up to date with upcoming tests, quizzes, projects, and assignments.If you are absent, please use this website to print off our schedule from the day you missed.You will be able to see what your homework was and what we covered in class.
